An alchemist, this large crystal point is both, both manifestation and phantom quartz, pink lithium quartz with red hematite wrapped around generational layers of ghost phantoms atop a rare twin crystal expression of isis quartz.

Almost five inches long, this wild stone steps forward unlike any piece I’ve seen.

In the spaces where two become one, twin crystals move in tandem up the bottom half of the piece.

Halfway up this wild stone the five sided isis quartz face shifts from outside to in, becomes a manifestation. Embodying transformation, casting shadows from inside out.

The transition of this piece doesn’t feel incidental. Shifting at the centerline. Above and below. As within so without. This may be one of my very favorite manifestations of manifestation quartz.

Soft, mauve pink lithium and red hematite give shape and texture to the repeating, generational layers of white ghost phantoms which radiate upwards from isis quartz.

White and red and pink phantoms build upon the manifestation quartz crystal, the manifestation itself transforming into a tangible expression of the evolution of the piece.

The whole of this rare, large crystal embodies the energetic intention of transformation itself. It sings of becoming.

Though difficult to capture in unedited photos, both raised and trigonic quartz record keepers reveal themselves on the top, primary crystal face.

And to its left, a distinct, zigzag lightning strike quartz mark travels diagonally, alchemizing the landscape of the back of the piece.

A layer of eternal frost coats water clear quartz, errant lightning quartz markings become the tangible language of energy. Cathedrals and ancient etchings rewrite its story.

A cluster of fully internalized manifestation crystals in the apex of the termination hang suspended like icicles, capturing the light and radiating it back out.

A lighthouse, a beacon.

Wild and untouched, this raw quartz crystal exists in the spaces between manifestation quartz and phantom quartz and lightning quartz.

In my own life, numbers seem to step forward in language, and as I get older, I strive to pause and take notice.

Working with the ancient language of numerology, nine speaks to endings as beginnings and both our capacity for and the inevitable nature of growth.

The Serra de Espinhaço mountains in Minas Gerais are known for orographic thunderstorms.

Abundant lightning charges the air, the charge reaching temperatures of “30,000°C in nanoseconds,” five times hotter than the surface of the sun.

The lightning strikes the mountain tops, penetrating the rocks which house these growing Quartz crystals.
