Stones have been my teachers for as long as I can remember.
As children, the whole world is an experience for the senses. Magic isn’t possible or even probable. It’s absolute, woven into our conscious understanding of what is true.
And though we so often grow to un-remember these truths, we magic makers can still feel our wild, strumming beneath the grass between our toes, keeping time to the earth’s heartbeat. Even in the absence of remembering, there is always a knowing. That spirit lives in all things. That no-thing is soulless.
I spent so much time disconnected from my magic, my truth, and eventually this disconnection manifested as dis-ease. And while I celebrate the suffering of no thing, this moment became the catalyst for my own, personal revolution.
Stones have always been my teachers. Tangible lessons in forgiveness, in reciprocity, in the fantastical power of unconditional love, in gratitude. Less tangible lessons, too. Medicine for the whole self.
It was this re-remembering, these lessons, which brought me here, to this moment. It is difficult to retrace my steps with words which don’t fall short. What I can share is what I found to be true, here, on the other side of the veil:
࿔ A deep and resounding love and reverence for mama earth. A profound desire to keep her safe. To work with her teachings while also upholding my commitment of reciprocity and respect to her and to all things.
࿔ A calling to share the lessons which I have found to be true, while also leaving space for your lessons, which may look different than mine. To always remember that you are the keeper of your own truth.
࿔ A commitment to support the collective to the best of my ability. To strive to resonate with the frequencies of true, unconditional love and gratitude, and to send that love, that gratitude, back out into the world, to you.
࿔ A sincere wish to be of service. To lead with the heart, in all things. To take gentle care with mama earth, and each other. In service to her, and us, and for all living beings. For today’s children, who’s magic is still an absolute, and their children’s children’s children. For the All of all.
I strive for absolute transparency. I ask this of those I work with when curating and creating this collection of offerings, and I make that same commitment to you.
Please see the “FAQ” section for details regarding our sustainable and ethical practices and how we use ritual to support each piece. Key points are also noted at the end of each listing, under “The Intention.”
My hope is that each piece meets you exactly where you are, precisely when you need it most. With every interaction, each of you become a cherished part of my story, and I am humbled and so deeply honored each time I become a piece of yours.
We are the magic makers. We speak to the stones, and we close our eyes and open our hearts when they speak back. We sit under tall trees as they share their stories and teach us of the power of interconnectedness. We hear the music of the wind as it rustles though leaves and over mountain tops. We give thanks to the sanctity of water, we push and pull with her, swayed, too, by the moon. We acknowledge the sacred land we stand on, recognizing those who stewarded it for so long, right until they no longer had a choice. We honor their stories, their traditions, and we vow to tend to this land as if it were our own loved one, because it is. Together, we are the change.
The Splendor of Spirit is located on N’dakinna, which is the traditional ancestral homeland of the Abenaki, Pennacook and Wabanaki Peoples past and present. We acknowledge and honor with gratitude the land and waterways and the alnobak (people) who have stewarded N’dakinna throughout the generations.
With so very much love,
