This radiant, large lighting strike lemurian laser quartz crystal point radiates in water clear, golden natural citrine hues. The most extraordinary strike marks I’ve seen are woven around starbrary glyphs and sacred, triangular record keeper etchings.

Lightning has completely transformed this wild stone.

This alchemy of light is moved through the lens of wild, untreated citrine, the strike marks embodying the tangible expression of lightning as it rages from the sky, reaching for the earth.

Like us, lightning seeks solace in the earth’s willingness to hold that which we need to let go.

Weighing more than one and a half pounds and over six inches long, it was absolutely impossible to capture everything this exquisite laser crystal wanted to reveal.

Not translated through the photos is a ghost phantom termination which unveils itself halfway up the piece.

Existing in the liminal space, suspended between light and shadow, this phantom is seemingly invisible. Shadows of its outline hint at the crystal’s evolution as the light tranforms the unseen to seen.

A twin, fully internalized manifestation quartz crystal toward the crystal’s root is illuminated in brilliant silver. The video reveals these twin silver peaks next to the large, etched imprint.

This wild stone has so much so say. The breadth and depth of its story felt impossible to translate in nine photos and a fifteen second video.

This piece is an experience. Neither the photos or there video could have ever done it justice.

For as much as it’s shared, it’s likely that its full story won’t be told until it’s made its way home. It has been such an extraordinary honor to tend to this piece. And, I know that its story, its lessons are not for me.

Lighting quartz is an extrodinary phenomenon, said to be its own dialect of starbrary quartz language.

The Serra de Espinhaço mountains are a mystical place where lighting rains down from the sky, orographic storms creating clouds with an elevated electrical charge.

The lightning both heats the quartz and transfers a remarkable amount of energy, amplifying the stone’s piezoelectric capacity to receive, store and transmit information.

This process speaks to the nature, the spirit of the stone in ways we’re still just beginning to understand.

It’s impossible to miss the remarkable strike marks in this wild, large stone. The point of impact and the path of the lightning opens up, transforming the language of the piece.

Completely untouched, there is a natural, artistic poetry to this ancient flash stone. Carved by the electrical current, the termination of this piece has been reconfigured.

A network of some of the most exquisite strike marks I’ve seen branch down from the termination like roots, sacred fractals scrolled in the ancient language of light.

Beneath these roots, the body of the piece is etched in starbrary quartz star markings with rare, triangular record keeper glyphs.

The dichotomy of the piece speaks to the duality of balance. Feminine/receptive and masculine/directive energy, yin and yang.

Above and below. As within, so without. This rare, large crystal point is wild and untouched, presented exactly as it was unearthed.

Backlit by this untreated citrine’s brilliant cognac champagne hues, the evolution of this wild stone is undeniable, the clarity of the stone unveiling its intricate internal landscape.

Silver hematite foils followed its path, the light revealing vibrant rainbows which call in the full spectrum of prismatic color energy.
