Rare Watermelon Tourmaline + Electric Blue Indicolite Tourmalated Quartz Matrix | Bicolor Teal + Green + Pink Tourmaline Crystal

This extraordinary watermelon tourmaline crystal specimen alchemizes indicolite with pink tourmaline and wild multicolored teal tourmaline which manifests in a rare display of pleochroism, teal existing in the spaces where blue and green tourmaline overlap.

Tricolored tourmaline radiates in the most brilliant hues, the exposed pink core coated in shimmering mica, wrapped in layers of indigo and electric green blue.

Set in a tourmilated quartz matrix, the largest quartz face illuminates in brilliant shades of metallic blue gray, an abundance of tiny blue tourmaline needles woven together, transforming the color of the piece.

Larger blue tourmaline crystals weave in and out of the quartz, and an extraordinary tourmaline cluster manifests on the bottom of the piece in a cacophony of color and form.

From Paprok in Afghanistan, this large crystal statement piece is the embodiment of both, the alchemical principle of correspondence repeated over and over in the dichotomy of color and light and form.
