With only one locale, paraiba blue indicolite is the most exquisite manifestation of blue tourmaline I’ve experienced.

This large, rare crystal specimen presents with an abundance of raw, natural paraiba tourmaline is surrounded by red and yellow and purple lepidolite.

These pegmatite included combinations are often sold under the trade name “unicorn stone.”

One of the most abundant natural lithium bearing minerals, the lepidolite in this piece presents in a cacophony of color.

Set to a backdrop of shimmering clevelandite, the rare, brilliant paraiba blue tourmaline is the star of this piece, manifesting with a vibrancy which demands attention.

The alchemy of indicolite in lepidolite has always felt so intentional.
