This rare natural citrine crystal specimen manifests with abundant blue indicolite and green tourmaline inclusions, both the tourmaline and the double terminated citrine quartz presenting with a cacophony of rare formations.

A dominant tourmaline spray radiates in brilliant iridescent teal hues which vadcillate between green and blue as the light and angle shift.

The double terminated citrine crystal wand manifests in a cross formation with a small quartz scepter on the cross itself and sulfur quartz inclusions illuminated from the inside out.

The story of this piece is written in deep, ancient etchings, tourmilated quartz with emerald green and brilliant blue indicolite sprays woven throughout.

From Araçuaí in Minas Gerais, the quartz scepter with smoky phantoms sits opposite the double termination which presents with skeletal quartz growth.

The citrine crystal itself is scrolled in some of the most extraordinary etching and ancient markings I’ve seen.

Younger crystals branch out from the cross formation, DT’s and a small, fully formed secondary scepter speaking to the evolution of this rare stone.

The prominent teal tourmaline crystal sings in shades of regal greens and blues which rival the alchemy of vivianite, bicolored tourmaline manifesting in a spectacular, rare display of color changing pleochroism.

Tourmaline in quartz and tourmilated quartz vary by degrees. This rare crystal being embodies the intention of both.

Abundant green tourmaline needles manifest both inside and outside, some penetrating all the way though, piercing the natural citrine and the wild sulfur quartz phantom inclusions.

Rich emerald green tourmaline sprays have grown through one of the citrine terminations, and the opposite citrine point is coated in small shimmering, vibrant blue indicolite.

This same coating of indicolite crystals is mirrored on terminations throughout the piece.

The alchemical principle of correspondence manifests over and over in this piece. As above, so below. As within, so without. The all of both.

This piece is tangible alchemy, telling its story through a cacophony of light and matter and vibration. My natural inclination is to keep writing, to try to capture every nuance of this wild stone’s spirit.

And, no matter how many words I use, I know they’ll fall short.
