This extraordinary, raw lemurian quartz lightning strike crystal from Brazil is pure alchemy, brilliant yellow sulfur quartz stands against red hematite, twin terminations and an inner child.

Abundant keys and small, fully internalized manifestation quartz crystals are illuminated from the inside out.

Lightning quartz manifests in this rare natural crystal, the prominant zig zag mark becomes a zipper, transforming into advanced self healing with ET growth.

From the now closed Serra do Cabral mine in Minas Gerais, this crystal being is one of a very few curated lightning stones I have remaining. It is the only piece which manifested with sulfur quartz.

A prominent zig zag strike marking traces the path of the electrical charge, stretching from end to end and branching out on the back of the piece, creating an intricate web of etching with advanced self healing.

Found deep in the Serra de Espinhaço mountains (home to Serra do Cabral) where lightning rains down from the sky, lightning quartz is an extrodinary phenomenon, said to be its own manifestation of starbrary quartz language.

Lightning both heats the quartz and transfers a remarkable amount of energy. Piezoelectric, heat activates and amplifies quartz’s capacity to receive and store information.

This process speaks to the nature, the spirit of the stone in ways we’re still just beginning to understand.

A third termination is suspended between the twin points. This trifecta of points often separate over time (this is how imprints are born).

All three terminations remain intact on this rare crystal specimen.

The electrical charge of the lightning leaves a shadow of its path, creating unique, zig-zag etching on the surface of the stone.

The Serra de Espinhaço mountains in Minas Gerais are known for orographic thunderstorms.

Abundant lightning charges the air, the charge reaching temperatures of “30,000°C in nanoseconds,” five times hotter than the surface of the sun.

The lightning strikes the mountain tops, penetrating the rocks which house these growing Quartz crystals.
