This wild + rare stellar beam calcite crystal specimen from Elmwood Mine in Tennessee is double terminated, matrixed with sphalerite and dolomite, manifesting with abundant record keepers, dogtooth calcite markings in scalenohedral stellar beam formation.

This old stock Elmwood crystal being was mined between 2010-2012 and radiates in rich, golden amber calcite hues with zoned calcite phantoms and optical calcite clarity.

Abundant raised and rare trigonic quartz record keepers can be found amongst the intricate ancient etchings, sacred geometry becoming the tangible language of the stone.

Elmwood calcite is unique unto itself, the formations of this rare natural crystal resonating with an ancient wisdom which speaks of a time when our full senses were deeply attuned to higher frequencies of consciousness.

This piece is double terminated, the ancient markings moving around the entirety of the piece.

Gemmy sphalerite radiates in brilliant shades of deep orange, potent against the backdrop of sparking gray dolomite crystals.

Stellar bean calcite listings often note that the Elmwood Mine is closed.

My mine source and the information available says this is true - the mine was officially listed as inactive by the owner and Elmwood crystals are becoming increasingly rare.

While it does appear that new specimens are not likely, this is not the first time the mine has closed, it is the longest and the mine’s website gives no indication of re-opening.

Even still, I am never comfortable starting with absoluteness that future access to these tennnasee crystal beings is an impossibility.
