Wild and rare, raw blue tara quartz manifests as a double terminated elestial quartz cluster with blue indicolite tourmaline rutile and rare formations - naturally curved quartz, self healed ET’s and a rare trigon record keeper.

Indicolite and reibeckite rutile in quartz radiate in luminescent blue hues.

Self healed quartz presents as sits balanced against and self healing on the back creates an abundance of extra terminations which capture and refract the light.

Found solely in one sacred location in Brazil, blue tara is a rare form of blue indicolite and reibeckite tourmaline included lithium quartz known for its unique, fibrous blue and silver strands.

Originally marketed as a variety of blue amphibole with inclusions of olenite, repeated mineral testing has identified these rare crystal specimens as a lithium included quartz with reikeckite and prismatic blue tourmaline.

Luminescent, the rutile fibers capture and reimagine the light, creating the illusion of movement, emulating the ocean floor, fauna and flora, swayed, too, by ebb and flow.

Photos are taken in both upright and reverse positioning to highlight the radiance of the full scope of terminations.

The large curved cathedral termination to the left of the piece is mirrored by the natural curvature of the self healed back. This rare blue tara crystal specimen fits so comfortably in the palm of the hand.

From the Sinhalese word, “Turamali,” Tourmaline translates to “something small from the earth.”

Both pyroelectric and piezoelectric, Tourmaline has been long regarded for its exceptional capacity to move energy and support healing.
