Twin Flame Goboboseb Smoky Amethyst Scepter | Brandberg Crystal w/ Elestial Quartz & Harlequin Quartz Red Rutile

This large Brandberg Amethyst Goboboseb crystal specimen presents in rare double terminated form - topped by twin flame terminations, the bottom displays elestial quartz formations which surround an internal scepter cavity that traverses a third of the way up the piece.

Harlequin quartz inclusions display an abundance of deep purple lepidicrocite and vibrant red rutile.

Vibrant purple phantoms highlight the twin terminations which also display minor elestial characteristics and are surrounded by abundant harlequin quartz inclusions and smoky quartz druzy.

Deep layers of rutile illuminate a bright silver when they capture the light.

An abundance of gaseous and enhydro bubbles are visible in the terminations (I have not detected any moving enhydro’s, though in my experience, they often decide when and to whom to reveal themselves).

Repeating layers of vivid, violet flame amethyst phantoms radiate in regal hues of purples and blues, and rich, smoky phantom inclusions follow the twists and turns of this phenomenal collectors piece.

Sometimes also referred to as Shangaan Amethyst (though Shangaan Amethyst comes from the Zimbabwe region), Brandberg Amethyst is open heartedly hand mined in Namibia.
