High grade natural blue tara quartz cluster with double terminations, elestial quartz and cathedral quartz formations, presenting with exceptional silver and blue rutile created by inclusions of brilliant blue indicolite tourmaline.

Found solely in one sacred location in Brazil, blue tara is a rare form of blue indicolite and reibeckite tourmaline included lithium quartz known for its unique, fibrous blue and silver strands.

Originally marketed as a variety of blue amphibole with inclusions of olenite, repeated mineral testing has identified these rare crystal specimens as a lithium included quartz with reikeckite and prismatic blue tourmaline.

This blue tourmaline quartz presents in vibrant, etheric shades of blue and is accompanied by striking silver rutile fibers of magnesium with indications of dumortierite.

Luminescent, the rutile fibers capture and reimagine the light, creating the illusion of movement which mirrors the ocean floor, fauna and flora, swayed, too, by the ebb and flow.

Tara translates to “star,” and in Tibetan cultures, Tara is a female incantation of the Buddha. Connected to the goddess of the earth, blue tara quartz resonates with the energy of the ocean.
