Rare Auralite cathedral Quartz with repeating record keeper markings across multiple faces. Raw Auralite 23 with raised, triangular record keeper and multiple, less common inverted, recessed trigonal record keeper markings. Saturated with hematite rutile red cap inclusions with a striking rainbow in the center of one of the sides, capturing the full spectrum of prismatic light. Well defined geometric imprints coat the sides of this unique Auralite specimen.

Hand mined intentionally from the Cave of Wonders, nestled in the Boreal Forest in the Lake Superior region of Canada. Sourced directly from the miner in Thunder Bay.

“Auralite 23” is estimated to be roughly 1.2 billion years old and is believed to be the world’s oldest gemstone. Formed deep underground during the Meso-Proterozoic era, Auralite resonates with the energetic history of the earth.

Discovered in the “Cave of Wonders,” deep within the Boreal Forest in Canada, north of Thunder Bay, Auralite is comprised of alternating layers of phantom Chevron Amethyst and contains inclusions of (on average) at least 17 of 23 additional vibrational elements of earth (see note at the end of post for a list of minerals).

Auralite is said to foster our “sense of being in the presence of the sacred.” Supporting our relationship to the “I Am,” which exists beyond our outward and often singular expression of “I,” Auralite expands our capacity to be in relationship with the higher self.

Auralite resonates with our energetic systems as a whole, supporting the cleansing of energetic blocks, stored patterns and limiting beliefs. This energetic cleansing is said to foster a “balanced awakening of kundalini…an awareness of the ‘eternal now.’”

Known as a stone of regeneration, Auralite creates a sort of vibrational realignment and is often used for energetic healing. By reuniting us with our highest self’s we’re supported to “lift the veil” and access higher frequencies of consciousness in the present moment, enhancing our potential for “magical transformation” and to awaken a new, “sacred way of being.”

Record keepers are said to dwell in the “liminal threshold between worlds.” Considered stones of transition, Record keepers are said to create a sort of bridge, granting us access to a recorded history of humanity and of the earth, herself.

Trigonic Quartz is considered one of the rarest formations in the “entire Quartz menagerie.” Sunken in to the face of the stone rather than raised, with the point of the triangle facing down, away from the termination, Trigonic Quartz supports our capacity to access the unlimited potential of the future - liminal space, the infinite void which holds the possibility of all possibilities. This sort of “absolute trust—giving oneself forward into the next moment with no way of knowing or controlling what will come,” supports expansion and creates space for us to reconnect with higher frequencies of wisdom.

Self-Healed Quartz crystals are considered master teachers. Self-Healed Quartz can be used to “facilitate healing” through the “practice of reflective integration.” Self healed stones support us through our own process of self reflection and healing. Resonating with self healed Quartz encourages us to consider how our experiences have contributed to our growth and how the integration of these experiences become portals through which to come to know our self’s with greater clarity. It is exceptionally uncommon to find a piece which has regrown to this extent, which makes this piece a particularly potent ally for those who resonate with this stone.
