Rainbow Moonstone is actually a variety of White Labradorite. Moonstone and Labradorite are each members of the Feldspar family and are closely related. Named by the lapidary community, Rainbow Moonstone is recognized for its stunning, full spectrum flash, shimmering iridescence and unique and equally powerful inclusions.
Rainbow Moonstone is a stone of transformation. Also known as “Prism Stone,” Rainbow Moonstone embodies all seven rays of the visible light spectrum (which correspond with our seven, primary chakras) and as such, it is capable of working with our entire energetic system.
In addition to supporting our seven primary energy centers, Rainbow Moonstone is said to cleanse and activate our Soul Star chakra. Located approximately 6” above our crown, this chakra is considered the “seat of the soul.” Our Soul Star chakra is our direct link to our highest self’s, and it’s believed that all of our soul’s “information” is stored here - information from this life, past lives, our karmic past, and our Akashic Records.
Despite the fact that Rainbow Moonstone is not technically a “Moonstone” at all, it is still “part of the family,” and is intrinsically linked to the moon, herself. Rainbow Moonstone is most commonly associated with the full moon - abundance, reflection, gratitude and surrender - but the energy of this stone is a powerful manifestation of all of the lunar cycles. Working with Rainbow Moonstone supports us in connecting into the divine feminine and her cyclical nature - birth, life, death, rebirth. She is a powerful ally for working with growth, renewal, release, and the manifestation of change and new beginnings.
Biotite Mica is most distinguishable when refracted in the light. A deep, rich shade of black, Biotite shimmers like gold when the sun reflects off the surface. Biotite is referred to as the “Stone of Life,” and is said to open our crown chakra. Biotite promotes mental clarity, helping to illuminate that which may feel “foggy” or unclear. By supporting clarity of mind, Biotite is believed to create space for us to connect in more deeply with our highest self’s.
Black Tourmaline has long been regarded as one of the foundational stones of protection. Black Tourmaline is steeped in earth energy and supports us by both absorbing negative energy and creating a safe, energetic space by forming a sort of “energetic boundary.” Because of its protective nature, Black Tourmaline is often worn/carried on the person or is placed intentionally around homes, on altars, or in any other sacred or healing space to support us in keeping energy which is not beneficial or aligned with our highest and best good at bay.
This unique and powerful piece is the embodiment of divine balance - feminine/receptive and masculine/directive energy, light and shadow, root to crown; our own, personal will and our connection to greater Will of our highest self’s.
Crystal spheres are powerful tools in their own right, radiating energy in all directions and deeply connected to that which creates all matter. The circle is a foundational part of sacred geometry…one of the building blocks of creation, mirrored in the shape of our home, Mama Earth; in the celestial bodies; in seeds, which could only ever be magic incarnate - so small, and so capable of harnessing the mysteries of the universe, giving form and voice and consciousness to all living beings.

Unfortunately mining crystals is not regulated in most places, which makes ensuring stones are sourced ethically quite difficult at times.
We believe wholeheartedly that these stones have the power to foster great healing, and it is with love and reverence for Mother Earth, each other, and all things that we offer these products.
We work hard to do our due-diligence. We ask questions about the origin of the pieces, and do not purchase from mines/areas that are known for having unfair practices.
Sometimes we are at the mercy of the vendor regarding this information. See our FAQ, “Ethical Stone Information - Part II” for details regarding the steps we take before we’re comfortable listing these offerings.
Certain areas/mines have no regulations in place to protect the environment, ensure staff is age appropriate, receives fair pay, treatment & benefits & has adequate PPE. We will not purchase from these locations & we work hard to determine each piece’s origin.
When not possible, we must rely on our vendors. We’ve invested time, money & effort into building relationships & trust. We also always trust our gut - If we’re not comfortable, we will not purchase. We continue to educate ourselves & on the rare occasion we learn later that a piece was mined unethically, we will pull it.
Though ethically sourced often = higher cost, we believe strongly in these values. We strive to offer pieces accessible to all, with great love & deep gratitude.
There is a short and a less than short answer here.
Short answer - I’ve never been able to get behind the whole psychology of “charging $9.99 will look like a better deal than $10 & will increase your sales.” This feels almost dishonest for me, personally, & it’s not a practice I am comfortable with simply for the sake of it.
The less than short answer is that I have always loved whole numbers, particularly the number 0. “0” is often referred to as the void & is considered the space of nothingness. While this isn’t untrue, from nothingness comes the infinite possibility of everything. The void is the beginning of creation, the sacred pause. The end & the beginning.
The number “0” has always felt like magic in tangible form to me.
